WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE ASSESSMENT
During our first meeting, I will carry out an assessment to discover what issues you need to be helped with. It will be an opportunity for you to see if you would like to work with me and for me to see if I'm the right person to help you.

I'll need to collect a history of your condition, any other health issues that may be related and will carry out a non invasive clinical assessment of your physical body.

Depending on what type of problem you bring, I will carry out various tests to form an idea as to the possible cause(s) for your current condition. After assessing your posture in standing and in sitting,
I may for example check your spine, pelvis, leg length, muscle strength and flexibility, limb reflexes, how flexible your joints are, examine your tummy and in some instance measure your blood pressure.

This will help us both understand what the underlying problem(s) may likely be. At the end of the examination, I will tell my findings and how to address them. It may be that I believe another specialist would be better able to help you better than I can. If that's the case I will let you know and suggest that you make contact with them directly.

If we agree to work with each other, treatment can start at the initial consultation and a treatment plan can be discussed.
