WELCOME MESSAGE Osteopathy aims at restoring an optimum relationship between the different body parts. It involves the manipulation of nerves, muscles, joints, fascias and organs. Areas of restrictions, often distant from the original discomfort, can cause a problem elsewhere. Therefore, treatment may occur in areas away from the original complaint. Physiotherapy focuses on the recovery of the injured area. Nerves, muscles and joints are mobilised. Rehabilitation plays a major role to help you regain flexibility, mobility, strength, and a good posture. Home exercise programme and ergonomic advice help you to maintain the outcome of your treatment and minimise the risk of recurrence. Both disciplines believe in the body’s own natural healing abilities. They differ in their therapeutic approach but can complement each other. Both are offered either singly or in combination, depending upon what is best for you. Virginie offers physiotherapy, osteopathy and paediatric physiotherapy in North London |
